Ethereum

Ethereum is a decentralized, open-source blockchain with smart contract functionality, conceived in 2013 by programmer Vitalik Buterin. Its native cryptocurrency, Ether (ETH), is second only to Bitcoin in market capitalization and underpins decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenization, and other digital asset activity across crypto markets.
